It's seven 20+ episode-long seasons where each episode is an hour long. Watching this show is a commitment, but one of the most rewarding commitments you'll ever make in your life.
Most Interesting Character: Lorelai Gilmore
Every character is lovable in their own ways, even the ones you love to hate like Emily Gilmore and Paris. However, Lorelai has all the best characteristics of everybody in one package.
She has to be the typical mom and be responsible for her family, but she also has her faults and grows as a individual professionally and romantically throughout the show. We also see her relationship with her parents, so we see her in the role of a child as well.
She's just the person you get to know the most, which makes her easily the most lovable character on the show. Coffee-addiction and all.
The Good: The writing on this show is amazing. It's so funny, witty, emotional and just all around good.
The way that the writing makes you feel like you're a member of the community in Stars Hollow just makes the show that much more approachable and likable. All of the characters feel like people living down the street from you and you feel just as attached to them as you do members of your family.
The Bad: There are so few bad things about this show that it's hard to find flaws. The writing is so good that without it there is no show.
Unfortunately, the writing changes late in the show it takes a turn for the worse. It's just not the same after that and makes it so sad to watch. It's like meeting up with your friends from high school and seeing how much they've changed for the worst since you saw them last.
Luckily, we get a chance to make up for what was lost when the original cast and crew comes back for the Netflix reboot later this year!
The Takeaway: You must watch this show. You'll love this show. It's a great show.
But really though, this show is one of the most heartwarming shows currently in the Netflix library. If you're a fan of feel-good comedies, this is the show for you.
