What is your favorite thing to do?
I like cooking. I guess that could be a favorite.
What do you like to cook?
I like to cook really simple foods, but with good, locally grown, like whole foods, simple.
What do you value most?
Probably my relationships. Friends and family.
Who is someone that you admire?
Right now, my research advisor. She’s like constantly coming up and I think she’s a rock star.
What are you researching?
I’m looking at depression and making really good interventions that help prevent it.
Do you have any advice for college students at UNC?
I feel like for me to advise would be really presumptuous. So, no. That’s just trying to be in good
community.
What are you most concerned about currently?
I’ve been ranting a lot about UNC stuff, but I think the one that bothers me the most is the racial issues
right now. And just walking around campus and it bothers the crap out of me. Silent Sam bothers the
crap out of me.
