 So my friends were knocking me for this last night, but I think they are excellent. Especially after I tried a tequila sunrise, which is just disgusting. Way too sweet.

I was surprised no one had ever heard of doing this because I always have — try putting a little beer in your margarita.

Unless you are a huge fan of tequila, beer is the perfect solution to the bite that a margarita will give you. It makes the drink less sweet - and can even fix a crappy one.

What is so hard about talking in bars? Everything.

Question: How long can someone talk to you in a bar before it gets annoying?

Not long, is the answer. No, there's too many factors working against people who approach others in bars. Too many factors working against myself, even.

Trivia Tuesday's

Tonight is Tuesday. That means trivia nights.

Per my usual, I recommend Linda’s because it’s small, quieter, and the perfect place to start an evening. Trivia starts at 8 p.m. downstairs in the bar, but I would get there a little bit earlier if you want to have a seat. Grab a basket of cheese fries, with bacon, and a brew of your choice. (I love bacon.)

I started off the weekend walking home from work and the first thing I see is tons of girls standing around on sidewalks. Sorority rush has officially begun, and my only complaint is that it does not last longer than a week.
