At some points it was difficult to continue. The Arts & Entertainment editor had several nervous breakdowns and insisted the ENIAC was trying to kill us all. She attempted to disable it but was incapacitated by remorse as it sang "A Bicycle Built for Two" and continued to calculate your quiz results.
To make things worse, we didn't really know the answers to these questions, and quite frankly, we didn't expect you to know them either. You can imagine how surprised we were to get a whopping 10 responses by Monday afternoon.
So the final results are: first place and the fabulous prizes go to Erica Healey and her 45 points out of a possible 60. Erica, we'll contact you soon to give you your handsome reward.
Honorable mentions go to John Cullen and John Tedrow for their 44 correct answers each.
See last week's Diversions to review the questions.
1. John C. Reilly, Philip Baker Hall, Philip Seymour Hoffman
2. "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
3. Jimmy Smits
4. Rosemary and Cameron
