The incident occurred at Ryan's World Skate Park on 100 Northern Park Drive. Reports state that an unknown subject spray painted skateboard ramps, causing $500 in damage.

The case status is inactive at this time.

Chapel Hill police received reports of vandalism to a motor vehicle at 8:30 a.m.

The incident occurred at Mill Creek Apartments on 704 Airport Road. Reports state that an unknown subject did $300 damage to a rear window, $250 damage to the driver and passenger side mirrors and $200 damage to a passenger side window of a 2000 Acura Integra.

Reports state that an unknown subject broke entered a 1998 Honda Civic and stole a purse worth $10, an unspecified amount of cash, and credit and debit cards.

Carrboro police received reports of breaking and entering and larceny from a business at 7:45 a.m.

Reports state that an unknown subject broke into Andrews-Riggsbee Hardware at 203 S. Greensboro St. and stole $90 cash from the register. The offender also caused $300 damage to a glass door and $100 damage to the cash register.

The incident is under further investigation.

Carrboro police received reports of larceny and and attempted obtaining property by false pretenses at 10:30 p.m.

Reports state that an unknown subject entered Food Lion on 602 Jones Ferry Road and asked to use the phone at the customer service desk. He took a check lying on the desk and then attempted to purchase grocery items. He was refused because he did not have identification.

The incident is under further investigation.
