Durant, a redshirt freshman from Florence, S.C., went 10 of 14 for 128 passing yards and two touchdowns in leading the Tar Heels past N.C. State 17-9.
He also rushed nine times for 46 yards without being sacked, and he led North Carolina on all three of its scoring drives. Durant's two touchdown passes both went to wideout Kory Bailey.
Durant also won the award last week following his performance against Florida State.
Pause Shares ACC Honors
Clemson defensive back Oguchi Onyewu and North Carolina midfielder Logan Pause share this week's ACC Men's Soccer Player of the Week honor after leading their respective teams to victory last week.
Pause, a midfielder from Hillsborough, was expected to miss the entire season after summer knee surgery. He returned to action this week, and in his first game back scored the game winner in a 1-0 victory against Duke.
