Volleyball Splits ACC Weekend Road Matches

CLEMSON, S.C. -- The North Carolina volleyball team defeated Clemson 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Clemson, S.C. The win improves the Tar Heels to 19-6 overall, 11-3 in the ACC.

Friday, North Carolina lost to Georgia Tech 3-2 in Atlanta.

Women's Soccer Beats Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- North Carolina's women's soccer team completed an undefeated, untied regular season for the first time since 1998 Saturday night as seniors Anne Remy and Jena Kluegel scored first-half goals to lift the Tar Heels past Ohio State 2-0 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. North Carolina has now won 25 successive games dating back to a 1-0 loss at Wake Forest on Oct. 27, 2000.

Swimming Competes in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. -- The North Carolina women's swimming and diving team defeated Michigan and host Minnesota, and the Tar Heel men split meets with Minnesota and North Dakota in dual meet action at the Minnesota Aquatics Center on Saturday.

The Tar Heel women moved to 2-1 on the season with a 220-148 win against Michigan and a 217-153 victory against Minnesota. The Tar Heels (1-2) men fell to Minnesota 229-141 but topped North Dakota 305-64.
