7:30 a.m. -- UNC Health Care will sponsor a terrorism preparedness symposium open to the campus community in the fourth-floor Clinic Auditorium of the Old Clinic.
8 a.m. -- School of Public Health students have created a space for reflection, using images of and responses from public health professionals. The space -- the second-floor lounge of Rosenau Hall -- will be open until 5 p.m. today and the same hours Thursday.
11 a.m. -- The Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross will host a blood drive until 4:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Student Union. Appointments are encouraged and can be made at donors@unc.edu.
11 a.m. -- The Carolina Center for Public Service, the Public Service and Advocacy Committee of Student Government, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer Orange will hold a Volunteer Fair on Polk Place until 2 p.m. and distribute service information.
7 p.m. -- Carolina Week, UNC's student-produced news show, will air two shows. The first will cover local news, as well as the various memorials and services marking the one-year anniversary of Sept. 11. Following at 7:30 p.m. will be a special, "One Year Later." Watch channel 2 on campus and in Chapel Hill.
8 p.m. -- Campus Y will host an interfaith candlelight vigil in the Pit. Student groups also will present music and poetry.
