5 p.m. -- The UNC Hospitals' Women's Health Information Center and the Carolina Women's Center will hold an informational talk on polycystic ovary syndrome today in the Toy Lounge of Dey Hall.
Dr. Rebecca Usadi will speak at the event. Usadi has done extensive research on PCOS, as well as given numerous lectures throughout the state regarding the syndrome.
PCOS may affect as many as 10 percent of all women. Women with the syndrome may notice excess hair on the face or body, acne, obesity, trouble getting pregnant, hair loss and other symptoms.
5:30 p.m. -- The Wesley Foundation will host dinner and a Theological Open Mic Night at 214 Pittsboro St.
