3 Teens Arrested for Drug, Gun Possession
Chapel Hill police charged three teens Saturday night with several drug-related misdemeanors and felonies, reports state. At 11:12 p.m., officers found three men in a suspicious vehicle parked at Jones Park Drive , and upon approaching the car, the officers smelled marijuana, reports state.
A search found the driver, Johnnie Alvis Lloyd Jr., 18, of 700 Alston Chapel Road in Pittsboro and the passenger, Dallas Harrison Hilton, 18, of 127 Roundtop Hill Road in Pittsboro each possessing about 3.5 grams of marijuana, reports state. Officers charged both with simple possession of marijuana, and both were released on a written promise to appear on Feb. 24 at Orange County District Court in Hillsborough.
Reports state that police found the third suspect, William Bradley Boone, 18, of 44 Cedar Lane in Pittsboro in the back seat. Boone was in possession of a handgun, 106 grams of marijuana, a drug scale and a tablet of Adderall. He was charged with one misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed handgun, one felony count of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and one felony count of possession of a schedule II drug, reports state. Boone is being held in Orange County Jail on a $3,100 secured bond to appear today in Orange County District Court.
