Special election fills 4 vacant Student Congress positions
Four of the nine vacant seats in Student Congress were filled during Tuesday's special election, according to the Board of Elections.
Officials have certified results for the election of Brandon Todd to represent District 6, undergraduate students living off campus.
They also have certified the results for the elections of Caleb Pineo and Shannitta Bridgers to represent District 9, graduate and professional students in medical schools.
Caroline Spencer was elected to represent District 4, undergraduate students living in Granville Towers, but officials have yet to certify results.
Nobody was elected to fill the two open seats in District 7, the arts and science and humanities district for graduate students. Three seats also remain open for District 9.
