Submissions for this year’s community art project are due March 19.

The theme for the 2005 community art project is “Dream,” and submissions should be delivered to the Chapel Hill Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on or before March 19.

All members of the public are welcome to participate. Submissions must be no larger than 24 by 36 inches and must be able to hang on the wall. Submissions also must be framed or ready to frame.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission, will be on public display from April 7 to May 27 around Chapel Hill and Carrboro.

Library to host film event featuring classic cinema

The Friends of the Chapel Hill Public Library is hosting Cinema Classics at 3 p.m. March 20 at the Chapel Hill Public Library.

This is the first in a series of movie presentations at the library.

Music to take center stage in cultural presentation
