Today — Alpha Delta Pi will sponsor an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner fund-raiser for the Ginny Stroud Memorial Scholarship fund.
The $5 dinner will take place today from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at University United Methodist Church, located on East Franklin Street across from Wachovia.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Today — Elaine Mejia of the North Carolina Justice Center will speak about social barriers facing the working poor and will discuss tools to help overcome the barriers.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. in 116 Murphey Hall.
The speech is part of Social Justice Week, sponsored by Student Health Outreach, Student Poverty Reduction Outreach and EMPOWER.
Wednesday — Nicholas Kristof, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist of The New York Times, will speak on “Today’s Genocide: A Report from the Killing Fields of Darfur” at 6 p.m. in 111 Carroll Hall.
