  • Clyde Lee Burnette was arrested at 7:50 a.m. Friday on a felony charge of possession of cocaine, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that Burnette, 52, of High Point, was arrested at the intersection of Merritt Mill Road and West Franklin Street and transported to Orange County Jail. Burnette is being held in lieu of $7,500 bail.
  • Cleon Henry, of 611 Caldwell St., was arrested at 7:26 a.m. Friday on two misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, according to Chapel Hill police reports. According to reports, Henry was involved in a fight when police attempted to approach him, at which time Henry fled from the officers. Henry was apprehended at 611 Gomains Ave., and upon being searched, a crack pipe was found, reports state. He is scheduled to appear in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough on Dec. 5, reports state.
  • An incident of larceny from a backpack was reported 6:30 p.m. Friday at Guy B. Phillips Middle School at 606 N. Estes Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. According to reports, goods valued at $640, including a PlayStation Portable game console, were stolen.
  • An incident of breaking and entering a motor vehicle was reported at 7:45 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The rear window of the victim's 2003 Hyundai Elantra parked at her home on McMasters Street was broken, reports state.
  • At 2:47 a.m. Saturday, an incident of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny was reported on Mallette Street, according the Chapel Hill police reports. According to reports, the window of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee was broken and an iPod valued at $300 was stolen.
  • An incident of larceny was reported at 3:16 a.m. Saturday at 310 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that $356.95 in cash was stolen from the victim's wallet.
