A man was arrested at 2:38 a.m. Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state Robert Edwards, 35, of Creedmore, was found passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle in traffic on Fordham Boulevard. Edwards was released with a written promise to appear in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough on Nov. 21, reports state.

A man was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Saturday on charges of failure to comply with officers in reference to an outstanding warrant, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state Julian Belton, 34, was arrested at the Harris Teeter at 207 Estes Drive after a brief struggle with officers. Belton was released with a written promise to appear in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough Dec. 5, according to reports.

An incident of unlawful burning was reported at 7:01 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state a wooden bench, valued at $200, was set on fire outside of Pi Lambda Phi at 110 W. Cameron Ave.

A residence was reported broken into at 3:54 p.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. An unknown suspect kicked in the front door of the residence at 101 Forsyth Drive, causing $50 in damage, and stole $550 worth of computer hardware and software, reports state.
