Two people were arrested Friday on charges of selling alcohol to a minor, according to Chapel Hilal police reports.
Reports state Joshua David Miller, 19, of 624 Lemontree Lane in Hillsborough, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Friday at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
While working at the self-checkout station at the Harris Teeter at Chapel Hill North, reports state Miller sold B.J. Patterson a six-pack of Miller Lite.
Miller examined Patterson's N.C. driver's license, which stated he was underage, before selling him the beer, reports state.
According to reports, Susan Shumate, 48, of 105 Pointe Place in Hillsborough, did the same thing while working at the nearby Exxon gas station. Shumate also was charged with sale to a minor.
Both Miller and Shumate are scheduled to appear in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough on Dec. 4.
An incident of larceny and unauthorized use of conveyance was reported at 8:18 a.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
Reports state an intoxicated acquaintance took the victim's vehicle from the victim's home on Hillsborough Street.
According to reports, $100 was stolen.
Two people were arrested on drug charges early Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
Reports state Otto Franklin Garver, 21, of Asheville, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. at 104 W. Franklin St., on a misdemeanor charge of drug possession.
Daniel John Robinson, 24, of 308 Marist Court in Durham, was arrested at the same time on charges of misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession, reports state.
Both are set to appear in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough on Nov. 20.
