  • A man was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday at 327 W. Rosemary St. on drug-related charges, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Anotonio Eggleton, 33, whose address was listed as the streets, was arrested on a felony charge of manufacturing a Schedule II drug and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia, reports state. According to reports Eggleton was in possession of 0.5 grams of crack-cocaine and consented to a search. He was held in Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, according to reports. He is scheduled to appear Nov. 6 in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough, reports state.
  • An incident of shoplifting and trespassing was reported at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that a case of Red Bull valued at $7.96 was stolen from Food Lion at 1720 N. Fordham Blvd.
  • An incident of larceny was reported Tuesday, Chapel Hill police reports state. According to reports a bicycle was reported stolen from a bike rack, located in the parking lot at 125 W. Franklin St., at about 3 p.m. The bike was valued at $350, reports state.
  • An incident of breaking and entering was reported at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state someone broke into a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, parked at 113 Stephens St. Coins, valued at $1 were taken, according to the report. The window was valued at $200.
