  • Freshman Carissa Ellen Morrison19 of Goldsboro was arrested on two felony fraud charges in Hinton JaÞïmes Residence Hall at 2 p.m. Friday according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Morrison who was also charged with misdemeanor destruction of property was arrested after she was found with someone else's property in her possession" reports state.

  • Isaac ""Ike"" Warring Tull Gant"16 of 707 Emory Drive was arrested at home Saturday night on a slew of burglary-related charges according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Gant faces five counts of felony larceny one felony charge each of burglary and breaking and entering a vehicle five misdemeanor larceny charges and two misdemeanor charges of damaging property reports state.

    He was released on a written promise to appear in court Monday in Hillsborough reports state.

  • Someone stole a Durham man's car Sunday night stripped it of valuables and set it ablaze according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • The 1998 Ford Expedition was valued at $5000 when stolen and nothing when found reports state.

    Audio equipment a portable DVD player and a car seat valued at a combined $1579 were taken reports state.

  • James Foster Fearrington III30 of 1749 Dobbins Drive 4F was arrested after assaulting someone in front of the police at 2:21 a.m. Saturday according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Fearrington is charged with assault and battery a misdemeanor and failure to appear on a warrant from Carrboro also a misdemeanor reports state.

    He was released on a written promise to appear March 25 in District Criminal Court in Chapel Hill according to reports.

  • A senior in the Kenan-Flagler Business School reported that his $1700 laptop was stolen from the porch of his Northside home between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday according to Chapel Hill police reports.
