Every UNC student should dance at least one time

TO THE EDITOR:

We invite you to sign up to be a dancer at the 2009 Marathon because of what your involvement will mean to the community.

Now in its 11th year of existence the UNC Dance Marathon is the largest student-run fundraiser on campus and last year we had more than 1000 students involved. All of the money we raise benefits the children and families of the N.C. Children's Hospital. When you sign up to be a dancer you pledge to raise money and stand on your feet for 24 hours in a symbolic show of support for the patients and families of the hospital.

Dance Marathon is something every student at UNC should experience at least once and we hope you will take this opportunity to participate.
