UNC students are using their artistic talents to raise money for Haiti earthquake victims, offering original art works and beautiful music.
All nine of UNC’s a cappella groups will be joining together to perform Monday. All the proceeds from the $10 tickets will go directly to relief efforts in Haiti.
The money raised will go to Architecture for Humanity, a program that designs and constructs buildings for areas in need.

“We wanted to try and impact the Haitian relief aspect in an extended way,” said sophomore Walt Peters, member of the Walk-Ons, about partnering with the architecture program.
Hannah Jones, business manager of the Loreleis, said the concert will allow students to raise funds while enjoying a concert.
“It’s a really cool way for the campus community to come together to support a great cause,” Jones said.
The concert and other fund-raising events on campus have been coordinated by the Campus Y through the One Effort: Haiti campaign, Peters said.
The One Effort campaign was created in part to ensure no groups would be doubling efforts.
