Freshman forward Travis Wear is out indefinitely with a severe ankle sprain, according to the athletic department.
Wear is on crutches after stepping on a teammates’ foot while grabbing a rebound in practice Tuesday. No fracture was evident from X-rays.
Wear has played in all 22 games so far this year, averaging 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
