The bag contained a library book and $50 sunglasses, reports state.
— Someone punched someone else in the face at 4:24 a.m. Monday at Time-Out Restaurant, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
— Someone attempted to break into a vehicle and caused $200 worth of damage between 11 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 p.m. Monday on Friday Center Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
— Three teenage Chapel Hill boys were arrested on felony charges of breaking and entering a vehicle and misdemeanor charges of possession of stolen goods at 3:26 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Cosgrove Avenue and Dobbins Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
Justin Elijah McLeod, 16, and Tracey Allan McCauley, 17, were released on $500 unsecured bonds, reports state.
Howard Maurice Harris, 17, received an additional misdemeanor charge for failure to appear in court in Guilford County and was taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of a $550 secured bond, reports state.
The boys attempted to steal a $40 Bluetooth device and $750 worth of GPS equipment, reports state.
— A 24-year-old man, of Graham, was arrested on felony charges of possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine, selling and delivering cocaine and attempt and conspiracy as well as misdemeanor charges of improper registration and driving with a revoked license at 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Franklin Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
