Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Mike Beitler will be speaking on campus Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.
Recently, a slew of letters have been published in the DTH about the necessity of being knowledgeable about the candidates this election season. Beitler will be on the ballot in November, so if you are truly interested in being a well-informed voter, it is crucial that you attend this event. As the DTH rightfully noted a few weeks ago, Beitler is being excluded from two debates being hosted by the N.C. Association of Broadcasters. Therefore, this is a wonderful opportunity to exercise your right to freedom of assembly and listen the man that the media doesn’t want you to hear.
Beitler will be discussing his campaign for Senate and his take on the political realm of today in Bingham 301.
