North Carolina football coach Butch Davis will address the media at 3:10 today prior to the Tar Heels’ last practice before their game against Louisiana State on Saturday.
Davis will likely give an update on the status of the investigation into possible academic misconduct and may reveal what players will not be eligible to play in the contest.
Senior defensive tackle Marvin Austin was suspended Wednesday after violating team rules. Austin was at the center of the NCAA investigation into possible improper deals with sports agents.
UNC is ranked No. 18 in the nation and will play No. 21 LSU in the Georgia Dome at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
