TO THE EDITOR:
Are you interested in making a difference at UNC? Would you like to directly help the student body and student organizations? Do you want to help start a brand new initiative? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Student Congress is right for you!
Currently, Student Congress is looking to fill various Congressional Staff positions including Parliamentarian, Clerk, and positions on the brand new Congressional Research Service (CRS). Members of this CRS will work to advocate on behalf of the student body by conducting research and working on outreach projects. The committee will then take the information they gather and present their findings, ideas and suggestions to the Student Affairs Committee and full congress.
If you are interested in holding any of these positions, applications can be found on the congress website (congress.unc.edu). Applications are due at midnight on Sunday, Sept. 12th, so apply today! I hope to read all of your applications soon!
