At a news conference Monday, Butch Davis announced that senior offensive/defensive lineman Greg Elleby will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL he sustained against ECU.
Elleby had seen playing time in each of UNC’s four games this season.
“He’s one of the guys that’s very unselfish,” tailback Shaun Draughn said. “Whatever the coach asked him to do, he did. It’s very disheartening to see him go down, especially in that manner.”
