Police log for October 1, 2010

—A student possessed marijuana on a school campus between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at East Chapel Hill High School at 500 Weaver Dairy Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone broke out the rear passenger side window and removed property from a vehicle at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday on Bolinwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The inventory of stolen property is still pending, but damage to the silver 2004 Nissan Sentra was valued at $150, reports state.

—Someone stole patio furniture between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday from 505 Hillsborough St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The two patio chairs were valued at $40, reports state.

—Someone reported a stolen cell phone between 5:30 p.m. and 6:12 p.m. Wednesday at 100 Library Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The iPhone 4 was valued at $450, reports state.

—A 29-year-old man was arrested on three outstanding warrants at 121 N. Columbia St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Andre Rasheed Lee was arrested for two counts of misdemeanor communicating threats and one count of misdemeanor larceny, reports state. Lee was released by the Magistrate on a $1,200 unsecured bond and assigned a court date in Pitt County, reports state.

—Someone stole three cell phones from AT&T Mobility between 3:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday at 1704 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone stole an N.C. license plate between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday from 810 Old Fayetteville Road, according to Carrboro police reports.

—Someone broke into a home between 6 p.m. Sept. 21 and 12:46 p.m. Tuesday at 301 Rock Garden Drive, according to Carrboro police reports. The suspect stole a television from the home and a radio unit and GPS from a recreational vehicle parked on the property, reports state.

—Someone stole a GPS from a locked vehicle between 6 p.m. and 11:23 p.m. Tuesday at 100 South Greensboro St., according to Carrboro police reports. There were no signs of forced entry, reports state.
