Police log for October 25, 2010

  • Someone broke into Ace Hardware at 1129 Weaver Dairy Road between 12:30 a.m. and 11:47 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Items stolen from the store included one $50 gas can and $3 worth of gasoline, reports state.
  • Someone broke into an office and stole $3 worth of Percocet between 11:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Friday at 77 Vilcom Center Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person also stole $67 in cash, reports state.
  • Someone stole a $400 iPhone while its owner was distracted at 5:10 p.m. Thursday at 409 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone was reported trespassing at 210 Purefoy Road between 10:50 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone threw a rock through the rear window of a 1997 Lexus ES200 between 7 p.m. Oct. 10 and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bolinwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the window was valued at $300, reports state.
  • Someone knocked out the window of a black 1984 Chevrolet Caprice and stole a $600 car stereo between 1:15 p.m. and 1:56 p.m. Wednesday at 201 South Estes Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the window was valued at $300, reports state.
  • Someone broke a front glass window at 994 Cleland Drive between 7:09 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A $1,500 television was stolen, reports state.
