Police log for October 8, 2010

—Someone stole $69 from a register at the Kangaroo Express at 1501 E. Franklin St. at 1:48 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone trespassed Qdoba at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday at 100 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Two cars were broken into between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8:31 a.m. Wednesday at 700 Bolinwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Someone broke out the window of a 1999 green Honda Civic and stole a $20 iPod car adapter. The person caused $100 worth of damage, reports state. Someone broke out the window of a green 2000 Mazda Protege and stole a purse containing a driver’s license, a gas card, and credit and debit cards. The person caused $100 in damage, reports state.

—An intoxicated person hit a car and fled the scene of the accident at 12:07 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Rosemary and Columbia streets, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Somebody stole a $150 bicycle between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 7:40 a.m. Wednesday at Mary Scroggs Elementary School, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
