With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s time to think about what we’re thankful for.
Here at UNC, we have an outstanding education system. Where would we be without that favorite professor who inspires us, or who gets us through the day with their quirky stories? Many of us are also fortunate enough to have scholarships, made possible by generous donors in the UNC community. And while these individuals make a difference in our lives each and every day, they don’t always get the recognition they deserve.
To honor these individuals, Heelraisers will be in the Pit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday with thank-you cards. Stop by and write a quick note to your favorite professor, staff member, or donor, and we’ll deliver it!
Why wait until course evaluations to express appreciation? A simple “thank you” can make all the difference in someone’s day. Before we head home for Thanksgiving break, let’s give thanks to the people at UNC who impact our lives.
