Police log for November 11, 2010

  • Someone damaged a residence using eggs and fecal matter between 1:30 a.m. Nov. 1 and 5 p.m. Tuesday at 303 McDade St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the structure of the house was valued at $5, reports state.
  • Someone broke a back window and entered a residence between 8:30 a.m. and 7:26 p.m. Tuesday at 207 Elderberry Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a $1,000 gold Movado watch and $300 Taylor Made golf clubs. Damage to the window was valued at $200, reports state.
  • Someone reported alleged wrestling or a large dog walking causing noise at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday at 1402 Oak Tree Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone was involved in a traffic collision and left the scene at 1:39 a.m. Wednesday at 101 Legacy Terrace, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person was driving a burgundy 2005 Ford Mustang, reports state.
  • A sleeping subject trespassed at 11:13 p.m. Monday at Time Out Restaurant on Franklin Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone reported a dog running at large at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Poplar Avenue and Gary Road, according to Carrboro police reports. The complainant described the dog as a black German Shepherd mix, reports state.
  • Someone reported suspicious conduct at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday at 200 James St., according to Carrboro police reports. The victim reported that she received a strange phone call on her cell phone from an irritated male caller that seemed to have come from inside her residence, reports state.
  • A suspicious person was looking at houses between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday at 106 Bluefield Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
