The person stole a $50 men’s wallet, a $200 Garmin GPS, a driver’s license, membership cards and credit and debit cards, reports state. Damage to the window was valued at $100, reports state.
- Someone broke into a green 1995 Ford Explorer between 2 p.m. Saturday and 2:24 a.m. Sunday at 5639 Old Durham Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.The person stole a $300 car stereo and caused $650 worth of damage to the vehicle, reports state.
- Former employees stole about $3,890 in cash from Deluxe Cleaners at 1800 E. Franklin St. at 3:49 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
- Someone was struck in the back with a shovel and knocked from a vehicle at 12:26 p.m. Friday near N.C. Highway 54 and West Barbee Chapel Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
- Someone kicked in the back door of a home at 223 Valley Park Drive between 9:45 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole $3 in cash and caused $800 in damage to the door lock and frame, reports state.
