*?Someone reported fighting between 1:27 a.m. and 1:32 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Henderson Street and East Rosemary Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

*?A Chapel Hill man was arrested for simple possession of marijuana at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 949 Old Lystra Road and Zapata Lane, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Carlos Ravon Taylor, 29, had 9 grams of marijuana at the time of his arrest, reports state.

*?Someone broke into a residence and stole property between 8:30 a.m. and 6:14 p.m. Tuesday at 234 Wesley Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole jewelry and precious metals worth $1,000, three jewelry boxes with a combined worth of $90 and a cookie tin worth $5, and caused $350 of damage to a door, reports state.

*?Suspects entered a business and stole items at 5:30 p.m. Monday at 1800 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The suspects stole 17 pairs of shorts worth a total of $948.92, reports state.

*?Someone reported an unknown dog laying in a leaf pile in the backyard of a residence at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday at 706 Hillsborough Road, according to Carrboro police reports. When an officer arrived at the house, the dog immediately bolted away and the officer was unable to catch it, reports state.

*?Someone reported that a cat was possibly bitten by unknown wildlife at 9:09 a.m. Tuesday at 112 W. Main St., according to Carrboro police reports. The cat’s owner said the cat is not up to date on its rabies vaccinations, reports state.
