- Someone broke into a blue 2006 Ford Escape between 9 p.m. Thursday and 12:57 p.m. Friday at 799 Bolinwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the vehicle was worth $250, reports state.
- Someone concealed steaks in her bookbag between 2:50 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday at the Food Lion at 1129 Weaver Dairy Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The steaks were worth $80, reports state.
- Someone was walking down a street with a gun at 2:46 p.m. Friday at 1495 Ephesus Church Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. No gunshots were reported, reports state.
- A 34-year-old Liberty man was charged with misdemeanor hit and run and exceeding safe speed at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at 828 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Brian Patrick Gallagher was cited and released, reports state.
