TO THE EDITOR:
As a forum of a college newspaper, the kvetching board should be a public space where students can creatively voice their opinions without adhering to political correctness. Its users do not hide behind anonymity, as an e-mail address is required to submit a kvetch, and unlike a blog, such as the Feminist Student United’s, the DTH does not erase comments that it does not agree with.
The right of students to put the spotlight on certain elements of the campus should not be labeled as oppressive without examining the author’s intention and background.
