- Someone stole a purse from an unlocked 2010 Honda between 2:45 p.m. and 4:36 p.m. Tuesday at 207 Adams Way, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The Coach purse was worth $400 and contained credit and debit cards, reports state.

- Someone stole a person’s purse and used their credit and debit cards between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Carolina Brewery at 460 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The incident was reported at 4:45 p.m. Monday. The person stole a cloth purse worth $30, credit and debit cards and $10 in cash. The purse and cards were recovered, reports state.
- Someone tried to provoke a fight inside Zog’s at 108 Henderson St. at 11:30p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
- Someone stole a backpack from a bar between 9:15 p.m. and 11 p.m. Feb. 9 at 157 E. Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The incident was reported at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday. The $100 backpack contained a laptop worth $1,300, a calculator worth $80, two notebooks worth $5 and a W-2 tax form.
