CLEMSON, S.C. — After a string of offensively impressive games, North Carolina hit a road block in Clemson.
The Tar Heels shot 37.7 percent from the field but still outdid the home team, taking the game 64-62.
Harrison Barnes scored 20 points to lead UNC. His final field goal came on a remarkable dunk over Clemson’s Milton Jennings with three minutes left in the game.
The two teams battled to a 28-22 halftime score with John Henson scoring nine points with nine rebounds.
The Tar Heels only had six players score on the day with Henson and Marshall chipping 14 and 18 respectively.
North Carolina improves to 18-6 and 8-2 in the conference. The Tar Heels will host Wake Forest on Tuesday.
