UNC students and employees are encouraged to fill out the bi-annual Commuter Survey today.
Thousands of survey forms will be disseminated by UNC Department of Public Safety to a random sample within the campus community.
The results will be used in the determination of funding and planning for transit systems, the number and location of parking facilities and other transportation alternatives for UNC, UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and the regional Triangle Transit system, officials said.
