TO THE EDITOR:
Each year Carolina participates in RecycleMania, which is a friendly competition between colleges across the nation in order to promote waste reduction on college campuses. Participating colleges track and report their recycling weights beginning in February through April 2.
Today, environmental affairs committee, in partnership with Carolina Dining Services and the Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling, is hosting a Recycling Drive in Rams Head and Lenoir dining halls between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. At both locations, volunteers will be collecting plastic bags, ink cartridges, phones, chargers and batteries. Remember to bring the listed items to either Lenoir or Rams tonight.
