The rules and judiciary committee of Student Congress met Wednesday to review external appointments and to discuss a finance bill dealing with student fees.

Nine external appointments were reported favorably to the full body, which will meet next Tuesday: Dakota Williams for Board of Elections chairman; Wenjun Chen, Leigh Fairley, Sakibul Huq, Hetali Lodaya and Anna Krome-Lukens for the student advisory committee; Erik Davies for student body solicitor general; Anthony Dent and Anne Stewart Salter for associate justices of the Student Supreme Court; Amanda Claire Grayson, Blake Barrington and Kara Parsons for the committee on student conduct.

The committee favorably reported a bill to ensure fair student fees. Sponsored by Adam Horowitz, chairman of the oversight committee, the bill will allow Student Congress to play a larger role in the discussion of student fees.

The bill will be discussed by the full body Tuesday.
