The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education plans to approve a contract for the district’s next superintendent in a special session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Board members and the newly appointed superintendent are expected to offer remarks. After the meeting a brief reception will be held.
The board will meet in closed session at 6:15 p.m. to address a personal matter.
