Oscar Rogue was arrested after he was caught breaking into a residence. He was taken to the Orange County Jail in lieu of a $200 secured bond, reports state.

- A shirt with a red substance on it was found at a back door of a residence between noon April 14 and noon Tuesday at 206 Elderberry Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
- Someone vandalized property and stole copper wire between noon March 27 and noon Tuesday at 303 Perry Creek Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person caused $500 worth of damage to the structure and stole $50 worth of wire, reports state.
- Someone forced open a rear door of a residence and stole electronics between 8:30 p.m. and 9:46 p.m. Tuesday at 708 S. Merritt Mill Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a $2,000 Dell laptop and caused $100 worth of damage to the rear entry door, reports state.
