TO THE EDITOR:
Recently, while attending basketball games at the UNC Smith Center, we have heard boos emanating from the people showing their displeasure with Holden Thorp and Gov. Bev Perdue.
Although they have not been too loud, with Gov. Perdue more so than Chancellor Thorp, my wife and I find it discourteous for this to occur. It is rude and should not condoned. We all have differences of opinion in this state, and they should be respected and encouraged.
