TO THE EDITOR:
It’s a given that immigrants made this country. It’s also obvious that we need serious immigration reform now and to stop this political posturing. We need to make it easier for these workers to enter the USA.
It’s the humane thing to do, and it’s economically feasible. What especially bothers me are the children of illegal immigrants. How can you look one of those children in the eye and tell them they can’t have an education here because of what their parents did?
Bottom line: Reform the immigration system to make it accessible to all that seek a better way of life.
