A 19-year-old UNC student was found dead in her apartment Friday morning, according to Chapel Hill police.
Police are investigating the death of Faith Danielle Hedgepeth after being called to her residence at 5639 Old Chapel Hill Road by friends at about 11 a.m.
Police have confirmed the investigation into Hedgepeth’s death is a homicide investigation.
The cause of death has not been determined and the investigation is ongoing, according to the release.
