Police log for September 25, 2013

Someone broke and entered at 605 Jones Ferry Road at 9:24 on Wednesday, according to Carrboro police reports.

Reports state someone heard a person yell, a loud noise, and a door slam, but the source of the noise was not discovered.

Someone used counterfeit currency to make a purchase at Kangaroo Express at 500 Jones Ferry Road between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and 2:37 p.m. on Friday, according to Carrboro police reports.

Someone reported a suspicious plant on top of a town parking deck at 150 E. Rosemary St. at 9:39 a.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Someone reported a suspicious person at W. Rosemary St. at 3:51 p.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Reports state the suspicious person had paranoid thoughts.

Someone committed credit card fraud at 237 S. Elliott Road between 6:35 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The fraudulent use of the financial cards was traced to the Red Lotus restaurant, reports state.
