Brandon Shamar Townsend, 21, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder today, in connection to the man shot and killed on Christopher Road last month.
On May 30 at 11:54 a.m., Lew Hahn Hood, 33, was found shot multiple times and pronounced dead when police arrived at 102 S. Christopher Rd.
According to a Chapel Hill Police Department press release, Townsend, a resident of Varina Drive in Durham, was caught in Durham this morning by the U.S. Marshall’s Joint Fugitive Task Force. He is being held without bond at the Orange County Jail.
Bartholomew Romidas Scott, 35, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on May 30 in connection with the shooting.
