Police log for September 2, 2014

• Someone stole a beer, a sandwich and two burritos from a Kangaroo gas station on the 100 block of N.C. 54 Thursday between 12:12 p.m. and 3:57 p.m., according to Carrboro police reports.

• Someone stole a power drill and a water cooler from a vehicle at 1301 Fordham Blvd. Thursday between 4 p.m. and 4:27 p.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone broke into a vehicle and stole four GPS devices at 101 E. Cameron St. Thursday between 4:48 p.m. and 6:52 p.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

All four devices were recovered, the report states.

• Someone used a fake ID to get into He's Not Here at 2:01 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported loud music and talking coming from a residence at 123 E. Longview St. Friday at 12:32 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• An officer found a yellow labrador retriever wearing a red bandana wandering around an apartment complex on the 500 block of Jones Ferry Road at 4:13 a.m. Friday, according to Carrboro police reports.

The officer took the animal to the Orange County Animal Shelter, the report states.

• Someone stole a cell phone in Murphey Hall at 2 p.m. Friday, according to DPS reports.

• Someone stole a guitar from an apartment at 130 S. Estes Drive between 9:30 p.m. and 10:24 p.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
