The UNC Department of Public Safety is investigating the death of a UNC nursing student who was found dead in her car at 9:21 p.m. Thursday.
The student's body was found in her car at the Friday Center Park and Ride Lot two miles east of campus, according to a press release from the University.
The State Bureau of Investigations and UNC police are investigating the death. UNC Department of Public Safety spokesman Randy Young said police are looking at all possible causes of death.
"There are elements about this investigation that indicate that there is not an imminent threat to the campus," Young said.
