The person had an open beer on a public sidewalk, reports state.

• Someone reported loud music on the 300 block of West Cameron Avenue at 12:57 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone broke into and entered a residence on the 100 block of Walden Drive between 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Carrboro police reports.

The person stole items worth $8,452 in total, reports state.

• Someone drove while impaired on the 500 block of Smith Level Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Carrboro police reports.

The person also urinated in public, reports state.

• Someone reported larceny from the Undergraduate Library at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to Department of Public Safety reports.
